Memories of a five week camping trip to Alaska in 2016. Juneau Pier Landing. And, one of my favorite shorelines, along the Chena River, where I spent 10 days near Fairbanks—waiting for a car repair. But, we were able to see the aurora every night and the sandhill cranes keening…and absorb the light on the river every late afternoon. One of those happy discoveries while traveling and running into the unexpected.
