When not living or traveling overseas for the last 30 years, I have been fortunate to live overlooking Zangle Cove at the base of Puget Sound.

I often ask—”is it about the sky, the water, the landforms or all the activity on the water and shore?”….the answer is “all of the above.”

Below is a large triptych— my first (and only) painting of the entire view from our deck. The Olympics and Squaxin and Harstine Islands (but not as far as Dana Passage). Painted with leftover house paint. My husband complains that is it is too gray. Well, I painted it in March—it was gray!
